Refund policy
Returns & Defect Resolution Policy (Modular Boxes)
Effective date: January 1, 2026
This policy applies to modular box products (“Products”) sold by DIYAirFilter.com and/or Honey Bee Creatives LLC.
1) 14-Day Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt. Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging with all included components.
Return requests must be submitted to DIYAirfFilter@gmail.com with your order number.
2) Manufacturing Defects (Modular Panel Remedy)
Our Products use a modular panel construction, which allows most manufacturing issues to be corrected quickly without replacing the entire unit.
If you believe you received a defective panel or component, contact DIYAirfFilter@gmail.com within 14 days of receipt and include:
- Order number
- Which panel/component is affected
- A short description of the issue
- Clear photos of the issue (and packaging if damage occurred in transit)
After review, we will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include sending replacement panel(s)/component(s), providing repair guidance, or (where appropriate) arranging a return/refund.
Please do not dispose of any part(s) until we confirm next steps, as we may request the item be returned in some cases.
3) Shipping & Costs
For confirmed manufacturing defects, we cover the cost of sending replacement panel(s)/component(s). If a return is required, we’ll provide return instructions.
For non-defect returns (change of mind/ordered incorrectly), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
4) Exclusions
This policy does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from misuse, modification, improper installation, or accidents
- Issues caused by use outside intended purposes or environments
5) Transit Damage
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the shipping box, label, packing materials, and the damaged item(s).
